New: Nico Bolzico lives out a dream experience in the adidas F50

With the world celebrating football through the 2024 Copa America and UEFA Euro 2024, adidas recently released their latest boot, the iconic F50. To get a better feel for the shoe, adidas brought one of the biggest football enthusiasts, Nico Bolzico, for an experience of a lifetime.

Bolzico’s been a football ever since he was a kid, watching games with his dad, even playing first division in the United Football League (pre-PFL). During the UEFA Champions League Final weekend, adidas flew Bolzico to London to meet his idols – Zinedane Zidane, Alessando del Piero, and Djibril Cisse – while also wear-testing the F50 on Arsenal FC’s home pitch, the Emirates Stadium.

Bolzico was accompanied by other football enthusiasts which included journalist Sofia Martinez, and Filipino-Norwegian freestyler and two-time Asian Freestyle Football Champion Phillip Warren Gerrtsson. Says Bolzico, “Being part of the adidas F50 launch was a dream come true. Football has always been a huge part of my life, and having been able to work with adidas for such a golden opportunity is an unforgettable experience as a fan. This event represented more than playing on the field – it’s about connecting with the global football community and living out our passion for the game, and I hope even more can see how freeing watching and playing football can be!”

2024 marks the F50’s 20th anniversary, and for its launch, adidas released the ‘Advancement’ boot pack. Meant to provide game-changing speed, the F50 is for those unafraid to feel the rush on the pitch – and those with a hunger to play freely, on their own terms. The boot was seen on the pitch for the first time last June 1, and will be worn by some of the best footballers in the world such as Lionel Messi, Rafael Leao, Son Heung-min, Linda Caicedo, Trinity Rodman, Lamine Yamal, and Florian Wirtz.

The F50 will be available for everyone, which will also come in the Mid W Elite, which offers unique features optimized for a women’s foot, including its ultra-soft Primeknit Mid Cut collar, which allows for an adaptive fit around the ankle for stability, comfort, and performance.
