New: NICEST IN THE GAME – adidas releases the DON ISSUE #7 this August

1st Team All-NBA. 6th All-Star selection. Conference Semifinals. Donovan Mitchell is truly one of the game’s best players. What’s even more impressive is that he’s now on his 7th signature shoe with the Three Stripes.
After teasing us since the All-Star break, adidas Basketball and Donovan Mitchell are finally making his latest signature shoe – the DON Issue #7 – available to purchase today. More and more, adidas Basketball has been hitting it out of the park, with impressive releases across their signature athletes (yes, Harden, AE, and Dame all have awesome looking sneakers). Going for a more sleek look, the DON Issue #7’s main come-on is it’s LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole cushioning, making the shoe lightweight and offer long-lasting responsiveness. For contest, the shoe only weighs 377g or 13.3oz, definitely a shoe that’s lighter than most.
While that should get people through the doors, the 7 also features a soft collar and TPU shank for elevated comfort and containment. The Archilles pad provides additional comfort and support where its needed the most. In terms of other details, Mitchells’ spider branding can be found on the tongue and also features a zippered shroud to give off that sleek and fast look to mimic Mitchell’s game. The 3 Stripes are emblazoned from the toe to the rear portion of the midsole, an unconventional way of bringing the stripes to the signature shoe.

The lead colorway for the Issue #7 is the ‘Camp’ colorway. We’ve seen it previously on the DON Issue #6, and the brand decided to bring it back for an even bolder rendition. The shoe debuted during Spida’s ELITE camp back in June and is now available to purchase globally (sadly only available in kids’ sizes in the PH for now). Two other colorways are currently available to purchase – Cloud White and Core Black. We previously saw Gilas forward AJ Edu wear them during the Gilas Send-Off game earlier this week.
The adidas DON Issue #7 is now avaliable across adidas PH stores, adidas.com.ph, and the adidas app. The shoe retails for Php 7,500. The shoe comes in Kids sizes, retailing for Php 5,800.
