New: adidas is set to drop the Dame X ‘Bulldog’

Bulldog Supremacy. With National University stealing the spotlight from the perennial collegiate favorites, adidas is set make their partnership even bigger with the release of their special make up (SMU) of the Dame X – the Dame X ‘Bulldog’. Do note that this SMU is exclusive to the Philippines as it celebrates the Bulldogs’ run this UAAP season, offering fans and athletes a collectible piece of NU history.

You don’t have to be an alumnus or student of the school to appreciate this special release. The Dame X Bulldog comes in a royal blue and yellow colorway – colors of the school. The shade of blue used reflects the bold confidence of the NU Bulldogs, mirroring their strong presence both on the court and off it. The Dame X looks great and the color blocking on it works well in so many ways.

For those who haven’t seen the Dame X up close, Lillard’s latest shoe features some interesting tech under the hood. The lightweight textile upper provides breathability, while 3D-printed zones provide targeted support where it’s needed the most. Lastly, the sole system utilizes a multi-directional traction pattern and an ultralight Lightstrike midsole for cushioning and responsiveness.

NU’s been having a great season so far. As of this past weekend, the men’s team leads the league with an 8-2 record, while the NU Lady Bulldogs are currently in 2nd place (9-1). Their 16U team, the NUNS Bullpups, remains undefeated at 10-0 to lead their division.

The adidas Dame X Bulldog is set to drop this Saturday, November 7th, at adidas stores nationwide, adidas.com.ph, the adidas app, SM Department stores, Toby’s Sports, Sports Central, Planet Sports Trinoma, and Zalora. The shoe will retail for Php 6,000.
