New: adidas introduces the PH to the Home of Sport BGC
Welcome to the Home of Sport.
Last Friday (November 24), adidas reopened their Two Parkade location but in a different format. The former flagship is now the brand’s first-ever Home of Sport concept in the country. The space, now upgraded and expanded to a massive 740 sqm combines both their Performance and Originals collection in one door.
So what makes the HoS unique? Aside from featuring the best products from the brand, the location features the brand’s first-ever adidas Run Lab. The Run Lab’s goal is to support each and every type of runner in their journey. Whether you’re a neophyte runner or a seasoned marathoner, the Run Lab’s got products to serve and support everyone to achieve their goals. The location also serves as the new headquarters for adidas Runners Manila. Established in August 2017, adidas Runners Manila has grown to reach 100+ runners per week, and growing.
To book an appointment at the adidas Run Lab, runners can book via the online scheduling system, wherein runners will choose their preferred timeslot, and answer a few key questions about their running experience.
Once you get to the Run Lab, adidas will provide running footwear based on your running experience and goals. After the simulation, runners will receive information about their running profile and recommendations on which adidas running shoe technology best supports their running style. For adiClub members that are Level 3 and higher or adidas Running app Silver or Gold members, a complete report showing in-depth metrics will be shared with the runners.
One thing unique to the Run Lab is that it’s also a pop-up for the Kapitolyo coffee destination 1C Coffee. Known around the runner and cycling community, 1C can also call the Home of Sport their new home in BGC. The coffee shop also has store-exclusives worth checking out. adiClub members get a Php 20 discount on all beverages at the pop-up. 1C Coffee is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, from 8 AM to 7 PM at adidas Home of Sport.
Celebrating creativity with City Lab
The other unique point for the Home of Sport is the City Lab. If you’ve been to the Brand Center in Glorietta, the City Lab is a souped up version that’ll allow you to personalize your adidas products with hyperlocal pins.
