ICYMI: adidas released the BYW X online

As we were pretty busy with the exhibit for NBA 3x PH 2018, there were some other releases that you might’ve missed. Aside from the Dame 4 ‘Stats’, adidas also released the Crazy BYW X through their online store (yes, totally caught me off-guard when I decided to check the site earlier today). The silhouette dropped earlier this year during All-Star Weekend but we’ve yet to get a pair of the performance-grade BYW X that you can actually ball in (yes, the BYW’s great, but mostly for hangin’ out).

The first colorway you see here was done in collaboration with artist Daniel Arsham (yup, the same guy behind the brilliant adidas New York ‘Present’) that dropped last year. The predominantly white sneaker has a bright red toe box and navy accents on the heel. Both the EQT and Trefoil logos are present on the tongue and outsole. The outsole actually uses a high-grip translucent rubber to work well with the shoe’s Extended Torsion System for better traction and stability. Lastly, the BYW X also includes several Boost pods to go with the Ortholite sockliner.

The adidas Crazy BYW X is now available at adidas PH Online for Php 9,000. There’s one last 10UK (10.5 US) available online. Click here if you want to snag the last pair. Expect a couple more BYW Xs in the coming months.
