ICYMI: adidas just released a Dame 6 for Weber State

Is the NBA season over? Thinks are looking bleaker by the day as we continue to live the quarantine life during these tumultuous times. While retail stores remain to be closed, adidas has kept their lights on via their online store. If you haven’t checked their store recently, you might see these pop up on the screen: the adidas Dame 6 ‘Weber State’.

For those not too familiar with Dame’s storied career, Lillard played high school ball in Oakland and moved to Utah’s Weber State University as none of the major programs passed on the 6’2 PG. Once he displayed his wares on court, colleges and scouts took notice of the diminutive guard which led the Blazers to pick him 6th overall 8 years ago.

To pay homage to his alma mater, Dame created a special colorway for the Dame 6 in the colors of the Weber State Wildcats. While it isn’t an official Weber State colorway, the color blocking definitely lends itself to Dame’s team’s unis.

The adidas Dame 6 ‘Weber State’ is now available on adidas.com.ph, with the shoe retailing for Php 6,000. adidas did mention that deliveries are expected to be delayed, so they are offering free delivery for all purchases made during this ECQ.
