Keep it coming.
Back in March, adidas released the ZX 500 RM which was part of a two-pair pack, with the other pair being the ZX 4000 4D. Heads were pretty disappointed as we didn’t get the other half of the pack. Two months after, adidas Originals is pleased to share that the ZX 4000 4D is finally dropping.
Just like the ZX 500 RM, the shoe takes inspiration from the Kelvin temperature scale to highlight the contrast between modern mechanical production (ZX 4000 4D) and traditional craftsmanship (ZX 500 RM). These two processes represent the evolution of footwear production, as the ZX 4000 4D midsole is produced via its automated factory in Ansbach, Germany. The factory’s environment has no heat, light or human manpower. The black/grey reflects this, as reflected on the colder temperatures of the Kelvin scale. The red and green hits provide the shoe’s accents as it blends in with the shoe’s Primeknit upper.
The adidas ZX 4000 4D ‘Kelvin’ is scheduled to drop this Saturday, May 25 and will retail for Php 20,000. Sole Academy, Commonwealth and adidas PH online are all slated to release the shoe this weekend. Follow their social media accounts for more info.
