atmos x adidas Superstar 80s ‘G-SNK’ & ‘R-SNK’

atmos does it again and there’s no stopping what else they plan to do in the future. Japanese retailer atmos and adidas Originals continue their decade-long collaboration with a footwear and apparel collection of their “G-SNK” line. For those not too familiar with the glow-in-the-dark collection, this is the 9th time the two brands used the Superstar as a canvas and a 14th edition to the overall project.

For this year’s release, the brand came up with two Superstars, an off-white colorway ‘G-SNK’ and a black pair dubbed ‘R-SNK’ to go with a capsule collection featuring a pair of tees and shorts.

Each Superstar 80s is coated in a textured, hi-vis reflective snakeskin upper, with a smooth reflective material used on the Three Stripes and eyestays. You’ll also notice that the ‘R-SNK’ pair uses reflective material on the heel and throat for that added shine. The ‘G-SNK’ goes for a more subtle look, with a black heel and tongue badge.

In terms of the apparel, one tee features the adidas Trefoil logo baring the fangs and a reflective Three Stripe graphic on the rear collar. The second tee is designed by Japanese artist Kosuke Kawamura which features a snake graphic with text branding. The shorts matches the first tee, with the snaked-out trefoil logo on the left leg and a reflective Three Stripe graphic on the rear right leg.

The atmos x adidas Superstar ‘G-SNK’ collection is dropping tomorrow, July 24 at Commonwealth (Greenbelt + online) and via adidas Originals Neighborhood stores (Ayala Bay + BHS) and adidas.com.ph. Do note that the apparel will only be available through the adidas stores. The adidas Superstar 80s each retail for Php 8,000.
