Another 90s sneaker makes its return this October

Posted on Oct 3, 2018 in Adidas

When will it ever end? When will our wallets get a breather? Sadly, the answer to that is never. We’ve been doing this for over a decade and it’s never been this busy. Truckloads of sneakers drop on a weekly basis, some we don’t even get to feature. But there are some that need to be featured, focused and given its due props. This week, that honor would go to the adidas Temper Run.

The Temper Run took inspiration from the 90s and was first released back in 2014. You could say that it was ahead of its time and come 2018, it fits right in with the rest of the chunky sneaker crazy. This October, adidas Originals brought the shoe back in two solid colorways.  One is done with a heavy purple base with green and black accents, while the other is done in black with yellow/grey hits. The mixed-material uppers echo the 90s to the fullest and we love it for what it brings to the table. The shoe may not be Boost-laden, but this is definitely a step into the right direction. We need to see sneakers and appreciate the real design behind each piece. The Temper Run uses adiPRENE cushioning, but just like the rest of the 90s kicks, these are comfortable as heck.

The adidas Temper Run is now available at both Sole Academy (BGC/ATC) and Commonwealth (Aura/Greenbelt). The shoe retails for Php 7,500.
