adidas continues the ‘Yellow Tape’ series for Damian Lillard

As we have posted yesterday, adidas Basketball just released a new colorway for Damian Lillard’s 4th signature shoe, the Dame 4. If you’ve been following Lillard’s (shoe and basketball) career, you should be quite familiar with “Yellow Tape”. When Dame did his pre-draft workout, it was one of the best ever, one that truly impressed NBA scouts which eventually led them to draft Lillard into the NBA. Lillard’s trainer, Chris Farr, taped off the court after his workout to leave a lasting impression. And yet Lillard went on to leave no doubt behind that he is the real deal.

The first ‘Yellow Tape’ sneaker debuted with the Lillard 2, and now on its third iteration, adidas Basketball went low key with this one. Going for a grey, breathable upper while utilizing Bounce cushioning. The Yellow Tape graphic is now seen on the shoe’s insole, symbolizing his hard work and the fabled pre-draft workout.

The Dame 4 ‘Yellow Tape’ is now available at select adidas Home Court stores, Titan, and other adidas Basketball stockists, with the shoe retailing for Php 6,000.
