adidas brings out the Deep Ocean Blue colorway for the UltraBOOST Parley

Posted on Jun 26, 2018 in Adidas

Over the last few weeks, adidas and Parley launched the Run for the Oceans 2018 movement, a movement created to fight marine plastic pollution. For this project, the two unveiled the Deep Ocean Blue colorway for the UltraBOOST. After releasing several colorways this past summer, the latest colorway took inspiration from the Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the world’s oceans and the site of the deepest-known piece of plastic pollution – a single-use plastic bag. Each UltraBOOST Parley uses the Parley Ocean Plastic thread to use alongside the brand’s Primeknit to make the upper, while BOOST technology provides the energy return we’ve all grown to appreciate. To round out the shoe’s tech, the shoe uses Continental rubber outsoles for superior traction.

The adidas UltraBOOST Parley “Deep Ocean Blue” comes in both Men’s and Women’s sizes, with the varying Primeknit uppers on each. The shoes drop tomorrow, June 27th, at Sole Academy (BGC) with each pair retailing for Php 9,300. Check out the images below for a closer look at the Deep Ocean Blue colorway.
