Nike celebrates the Garden and the City of Boston with this Kyrie 4

Yesterday, Nike and the NBA had a lot of their teams wear the City Edition jerseys for game day. The Boston Celtics have yet to see action since last Friday and expect to see them on the floor sometime soon. To coincide with the release of the City Edition jersey, Nike Basketball created an accompanying sneaker for Kyrie Irving. Dubbed ‘Parquet Legends’, the Kyrie 4 is done in grey, similar to the City Edition jersey, with green and gold accents found on the outsole and Swoosh. A parquet floor-textured graphic is seen on the side panels, representing the storied parquet floor of the Celtics’ home court. The grey-colored upper represents the color of unity, which also represents the large regional fan base across New England sports teams as well as acknowledging Boston as the first team to hire an African-American head coach.

The Kyrie 4 ‘Parquet Legends’ is now available at Titan, retailing for Php 6,295.
