VARSITY HEAT: WEEK 9

Just like that, we’re already heading into the final week of the UAAP season! As the teams played their 12/13th game this past week, this may be the toughest week to judge for us here at Varsity Heat. Before we get into the nitty gritty, we’re glad to see both Taane Samuel and Prince Orizu back on court for their respective teams. We thought Juan Gomez de Liano takes the cake with the Air Jordan 33 ‘Future Flight’. But in the very same game, frosh CJ Cansino (prayers up, rook) brought out the Undefeated Kobe 1s! To top them all off, reigning sneaker king Thirdy Ravena brought the house down with his Barca FC Kobe 6s. We’re still undecided but a definite nod to Ravena for heading into battle with a 7 year-old shoe.
