VARSITY HEAT: WEEK 5 (OCT. 10-14, 2018)
Boy was that quick.
Just like that, Season 81’s First Round is in the books. A lot of surprises and storylines to mull over the first five weeks of the tournament. Adamson’s amazing run, Angelo Koaume’s dominance on both ends, and several inexplicable upsets, this is why the UAAP is country’s elite collegiate torunament. On the style front, some of the usual suspects are back (Juan GDL, Shaun Ildefonso, and Alvin Pasaol) and some new faces make it to this week’s list. While we have seen some crazy heat on feet, this week’s #VarsityHeat MVP goes to Barkley Ebona and his UNC Air Jordan 30s.
Lastly, we also noticed that some of the coaches brought the heat as well. La Salle’s staff continued to rock their custom AF-1s while Lakay Danny I and Coach Bo made sure their efforts wouldn’t go unnoticed.
