*UPDATE*
Due to some quality issues, the Air Jordan 13 ‘Class of 2002’ were recalled across all the stores. Stay tuned for more info on this release.
After releasing the “Back to School” Pack for Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul, Jordan Brand is rounding out the set with Carmelo Anthony.
Part of a storied recruiting class in 2002, Carmelo Anthony attended high school powerhouse Oak Hill Academy. Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, Michael Beasley and Anthony all honed their game at the Academy. These names help make Oak Hill one of the best basketball programs in the country. You could say that this was where Melo developed his mean offensive game that had Syracuse call him up. For this edition, Jordan Brand used the Air Jordan XIII to pay tribute to Anthony’s alma mater.
Done in the school’s colors, the Air Jordan 13 looks as good as ever. Melo’s logo can be found on the right sockliner while ‘Class of 2002’ is on the left. If you’re looking to complete the pack, the Air Jordan XIII Retro ‘Oak Hill Academy’ drops this Saturday, September 15 for Php 9,445. Pick the shoe up at Titan, Capital, the Athlete’s Foot, and Nike stores around the metro.
