Release Reminder: Air Jordan XVIII Retro “Red Suede”
If you ask MJ about his favorite pairs, you would think that he would give the usual answers. Some are true, but you’d be surprised that he enjoyed playing in the 18s. Just in case you didn’t know, the Air Jordan XVIII was the last shoe MJ wore on an NBA court. He was with the Wizards then and colorways were of course done to match the Blue/White and Gold of DC. If MJ loved them, why haven’t we seen more colorways for the 18?
Well, in 2003, we did get a White/Varsity Red version of the shoe and a Black/Red version oas part of the CDP pack in 2008. This April, we’re getting a Gym Red/Black version, a colorway that truly echoes the inspiration behind MJ and his love for race cars. The shoe is done with premium red suede with black accents found throughout the shoe. The Air Jordan logo on the insole looks like those race pennants found on race day.
The Air Jordan XVIII Retro “Red Suede” drops this Saturday, April 7, at Titan (Fort/Jordan @ Vertis, Conrad, Shangri-la, Alabang, UPTC, Circuit, and Titan22.com) with the shoe retailing for Php 11,095.
