New: ANTA is releasing the KAI 2 ‘Artist On Court’ this Saturday

Can’t believe it’s been a year since ANTA released Kyrie Irving’s first signature shoe with the brand, the ANTA KAI 1. But despite the news of Kyrie being out for the season, they managed to give us this – the latest shoe in the line – the ANTA KAI 2 ‘Artist On Court’. The new colorway is a follow up to the flagship release from last season, blending Kyrie’s artistry both on court and off it.

Just like the 1, Irving and the ANTA design team has done amazing job with the storytelling on the KAI 2. While the first silhouette did the storytelling with the embroidery, the 2 features hand-painted details, textured materials to further push the story forward.

Hand-Painted Toebox: Bold, Fauvist-inspired brushstrokes bring a unique, free-flowing design to the forefront.
Reimagined Logo: Native American-inspired patterns are a nod to Kyrie’s heritage.
Velvet Laces & Speckled Midsole: A mix of luxury and creative chaos, inspired by oil paintings and street fashion.
‘GATE’ Heel Design: A symbolic doorway to self-discovery and empowerment.

While the laces and the upper attracts a lot of attention, the shoe is still built for the game. The shoe uses the NitronEdge insoles for superior responsiveness, while the sawtooth TPU setup provides flexibility. The outsole also provides great traction, perfect for those shifts on the court for that all-world movement.

The ANTA KAI 2 ‘Artist On Court’ drops this Saturday, March 8th, at ANTA Ayala Malls Feliz. The shoe comes in very limited quantities and will retail for Php 8,595. Make sure to follow ANTA PH’s social accounts to learn how you can score this pair on release day.
