New: Vans releases the 2025 Year of the Snake Collection

As we usually see brands roll out Lunar New Year/Year of the … collection around this time of the year, Vans joins in the fun as well with their Year of the Snake collection featuring three silhouettes – the Vans Old Skool Black/Silver, Vans Hylane Red Snake Mashmallow and Knu Skool Marshmallow.

With tons of Y2K silhouettes popping back into fashion, Vans brings in the Vans Hylane as well. With textured snake red uppers and premium finishes, the design celebrates the strength and transformation symbolized by the snake in Chinese culture.

For those that want to stay with the classics, the Old Skool comes with a more premium finish, with its black uppers with snake prints found on the eyestay and sidestripe. Silver accents are seen throughout.

Lastly, there’s the Knu Skool Snake Marshmallow. We’ve seen the chunkified version of the Old Skool in previous seasons, but now done with a clean white upper paired with the snake printed sidestripe. The shoe also features matching laces to give some much needed contrast to the clean sneaker.

Alongside the footwear, Vans is also releasing complementary apparel pieces – the CNY LS Tee and CNY Camper – to complete your Lunar New Year look.
