New: the Vans x SBTG Authentic is now available in the PH

Gotta admit, Vans has been flying under the radar with tons of bangers. While we did see this launch in other markets a few months back, we’re finally getting the pair designed by our good friend and brother-in-arms, Mark Ong, aka SBTG.

The globally acclaimed artist and customizer has been a long time collaborator of the brand, brings another set to round out 2024. For those who aren’t familiar with SBTG, Mark has used sneakers as his canvas to narrate stories and contribute to the community. Bringing his passion for punk rock culture into the brand’s Asian Artist Collection, his release features bone motifs found throughout the classic Authentic silhouette.

Going for a black upper with bright pink accents found on the shoe’s insole and OTW plate, the leather bone patch overlays on the toebox definitely add more oomph to the laid back silhouette.

If you’re not as familiar with SBTG’s work in the region, he also hand-painted the cover art for Filipino punk rock band Chicosci’s Fly Black Hearts album back in 2009.

The Vans x SBTG Authentic retails for Php 6,498 and is exclusively available in limited quantities at the following Vans doors:
