New: adidas unveils the Adizero Adios Pro 4

Record Breaker, Record Maker. Since the line launched in 2020, the adidas Adizero Adio Pro range has been synonymous to winning – with podium finishes across the various World Marathon Majors. This September, adidas continues the legacy with the launch of the Adizero Adios Pro 4 which is set to debut this weekend at the Berlin Marathon.

The Adizero Adios Pro 4 was developed at adidas’ Innovation Lab in HZO, tested extensively with consumers and top athletes across Iten, Kenya, Japan, and the US. The product teams took insights from previous silhouettes to refine and enhance the latest iteration. There are three key updates to the Adizero Adios Pro 4:

NEW FOREFOOT ROCKER POINT GEOMETRY

Inspired by its big brother the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, the forefoot rocker – the point at which the sole curves upwards underneath the forefoot – is placed at 60% of the shoe’s length. This triggers the forward momentum to improve overall running. The shoe also boasts a full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole for the cushioning runners need.

LIGHTLOCK UPPER

The Adizero Adios Pro 4 features a one-way stretch woven mesh upper that is paired with internal locking bands for a snug and secure fit. The shoe also features a new lacing system for a better lock down fit.

LIGHTTRAXION OUTSOLE

Lastly, the new silhouette features a Lighttraxion outsole – providing where runners need grip where its needed the most.

In terms of weight, the Adizero Adios Pro 4 weighs approximately 200g (Men’s) and 172g (Women’s).

Droppling alongside the shoe is a new apparel range, which is inspired by the ‘sound of winning’, which includes a race-ready Adizero singlet and Adizero Control Short Tights – made with RHEON technology, which supports and controls muscle movement.
