New: adidas and Damian Lillard unveil the Dame 9 with their BAPE collaboration

Entering his 13th NBA season, Damian Lillard continues his signature line with adidas Basketball with the Dame 9. The latest shoe is the lightest to date and features several interesting details designed to meet Dame’s needs.

Weighing in at 14.5 oz, the Dame 9 also features an internal Lycra Bootie to keep you comfy while providing ankle support with every move. In terms of cushioning, the shoe utilizes Lightstrike foam, providing cushioning where its needed the most while reducing overall weight. In terms of traction, the multi-directional pattern provides agility, grip and comfort through cuts and foot striking. For additional support, the Dame 9 also uses the brand’s Torsion tech, while a nubuck toe cap for durability and extra protection.

After partnering back on the Dame 4, adidas Basketball and Dame teams up with BAPE once again, this time using BAPE’s iconic colorways on two pairs. The first pair is done in green with gold accents with a gum outsole and green ABC CAMO on the upper. The second pair is done in red with gold accents and red outsoles, paired with a solid RED CAMO upper. A third friends and family pair is done in a USA-inspired colorway, with a tonal SOLID CAMO upper. Each pair comes with custom co-branded and tonal BAPE CAMO sock liners and alternate laces. Lastly, the shoe also comes in a special co-branded box.

Aside from the Dame 9, the collection also comes with apparel – a reversible mesh black SOLID CAMO jersey, matching mesh black SOLID CAMO shorts, co-branded socks and a special edition Damian Lillard BABY MILO tee.

The limited edition adidas and BAPE for Damian Lillard will be available through the adidas app this Saturday, August 31. The shoe will retail for Php 9,500.
