New: TITAN and LeBron James unveil their fifth collaboration

During the NBA All-Star Weekend in 2023, LeBron uttered this statement, a true testament of his shared values with our very own basketball hub/retailer Titan. Whether you’re a kid from the Philippines or an aspiring player growing up in Akron, OH, the love for basketball is just the same and based on that feeling of hope.

TITAN and LeBron James just unveiled their fifth collaborative project with the TITAN x Nike LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD ‘Hope’. Inspired by the sun rays breaking through gray clouds, signaling the emergence of a clear blue sky. The upper is a nod to the asphalt courts prevalent in the Philippines, with claypot markings that represent makeshift court lines as seen on the outsole. Silver accents can be see throughout to complement the ‘yellowed’ midsoles.

To further drive the message across, TITAN has partnered with Gameville Ball Park, a premium sports facilty in Mandaluyong City – to transform one of their basketball courts. The court will be the venue as the launch event as well, where consumers who opt to pick up their pairs on 8/22 can join the open runs and play with and against other TITAN consumers, DVT and Nike athletes.

But more importantly, a select group of young, underprivileged basketball players – some coming from the nearby Mandaluyong public schools – will take part in a special TITAN Hope Camp, headed by PBA HOFer and TITAN co-founder Jeff Cariaso. The same group of boys and girls will also receive Nike LeBron footwear from TITAN for one year. They’ll also get exclusive access to the TITAN Court @ Gameville Ball Park for themselves and their friends/teammates.

While the first four releases from TITAN were in the hues of our flag, this execution just might be the best one of the bunch. With makeshift courts all around the country, this has got to be the closest to most Filipino ballers’ hearts.

The TITAN x Nike LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD ‘Hope’ is now available at Titan doors for Php 8,895 and will be available in full sizing (Sizes 3.5 to 14). The shoe will also be available via the NBA Store Philippines on August 22, 2024 and globally beginning September 1, 2024.
