ICYMI: Reebok launched the FloatZig 1

In case you missed it, Reebok recently launched their latest running shoe, the FloatZig 1. Based on the name alone, you know that the brand is combining two of their key innovations – Floatride Energy Foam and ZigTech soles for this all-new running shoe. More than anything, the shoe is lightweight and springy.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the New Shape of Running with FloatZig 1,” says Todd Krinsky, Reebok President and CEO. “By combining our award-winning Floatride Energy Foam cushioning designed for the elite runner with our unique outsole shape, we created a running shoe that offers premium support and comfort, all while being unique, bold, and stylish.” 

Combining the two technologies into one shoe essentially cuts down excess weight and stiffness while achieving the best possile energy return for the everyday runner.

“The FloatZig 1 Running Shoes offer industry-leading performance and energy return, suited for even the most elite runners, but built to be accessible and enjoyable for all runners. With both our product and within our irreverent Running Hacks global marketing campaign, we focused on the joy and excitement running can bring to all,” Krinsky adds. 

Aside from the FloatZig 1, Reebok is also releasing the FloatZig Symmetros – a dual-density, extra stable offering built for a supportive ride on longer miles. Later this year, the line will expand on to the FloatZig X1, which features a carbon-fiber plate model, while the Zig Dynamica 5.0 (Php 4,395) is now available.
