New: The Nike Kobe 6 Protro ‘Reverse Grinch’ is dropping this Friday

Christmas came early last weekend when the ‘Gratitude’ XIs dropped. For some, Christmas comes in this Friday, when the Kobe 6 Protro ‘Reverse Grinch’ drops across SNKRS and select Nike stockists.

One of our favorite silhouettes from the signature line is dropping once again this weekend in time for the holidays. Back in 2010, Nike Basketball debuted the ‘Grinch’ colorway on Christmas Day, as Kobe Bryant and the Lakers faced off with the Heatles of Miami. As the bright green 6s dazzled the court, courtside fans also got a treat as special edition pairs were given away in nifty holiday bags under their chairs.

Fast forward to 2023, Nike does a reverse take on the shoe, this time going with a Bright Crimson upper with Electric Green accents on the logo and laces to complement the black Swoosh on both lateral and medial sides. Now equipped with Zoom air and a more responsive foam, the ‘Reverse Grinch’ looks to be a lighter shoe than its predecessor.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro ‘Reverse Grinch’ is set to drop this Friday, December 15 via SNKRS (nike.com/ph) and Titan. The shoe retails for Php 9,895 while the Older Kids’ size comes in at Php 5,795. Keep your eyes peeled on their respective social channels for raffle/release details.
