Jason Williams is headlining NBA 3X Philippines this March

That exciting play has been etched on the minds of millions since he did that pass during the 2000 Rookie-Sophomore game in Oakland, California.

This March, we’ll get to Jason Williams in the flesh as he headlines NBA 3X Philippines presented by Mountain Dew.

It’s been 4 years since the last NBA 3X Philippines and its back in a big way, featuring over 160 men’s and women’s teams competing this time around. The preliminary tournament happens on Sunday, March 19 at the PICC Forum Tent (Pasay City), with the top teams from each division advancing to the finals happening at the SM Mall of Asia. The tournament will consist of divisions for boys (under-19 and open category), girls (under-19 and open category) and a celebrity division featuring local sports personalities.

If you’re keen on joining the tournament, registration for the open division will be announced on the NBA Philippines Facebook page this week. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of Php 1,000 per team.  The under-19 and celebrity divisions will be by invitation only.

So what do you get with the Php 1,000 registration fee?

Each participant will receive an NBA 3X jersey and Mountain Dew-branded merchandise.

Williams will be flying in for the Finals weekend happening on the 25th. Aside from White Chocolate, the Houston Rockets’ Clutch City Dancers are also coming to make this NBA 3X event a memorable one.
