adidas Originals unveils their latest silhouette, the Deerupt

Over the last few years, adidas Originals has taken the right steps to get them where they are now. First was the reintroduction and re-imagination of their archives, be it the ZX, the Stan Smith, Superstar, Campus, Gazelle, and the EQT. With it, they introduced innovation and creation of newer silhouettes such as the NMD, the Tubular, and most recently, the Prophere. The brand has struck a good balance between an appreciation of the classics and an optimistic look to the future. Through this, adidas Originals brings us the Deerupt — a progressive yet simple silhouette that completely disrupts the norm. adidas took design cues from both the past in the Marathon, Oregon and New York silhouettes, but also from the present such as the Tennis Hu.

The adidas Deerupt drops next Thursday, March 22nd, at several adidas doors and partner retailers. The Solar Bird (Red) you see here is among 7 colorways slated for its initial release. The adidas Deerupt may not have Boost, but just like the Prophere, these are comfortable and wearable throughout the day. For more information on the release, keep it locked here in the coming days.
