H is for Hey Tea: adidas Originals works with the Chinese tea company for a solid ZX 7000

While we had a busy round of releases last September for the A-ZX series, October’s only got two pairs set to drop for all of you ZX fans. Representing H, adidas Originals teams up with Chinese tea drink company Hey Tea for a neat take on the ZX 7000.

While most of us aren’t too familiar with Hey Tea, their entry for the A-ZX series takes colors tied to their range of beverages. The pinkish upper uses a technical woven mesh that looks a lot like their milk tea.

Aside from the pink hues throughout the shoe, you’ll also notice a marbled TPU cage overlay found on the toe box and quarter. The Hey Tea logo is placed on that clear marbled TPU tongue tab, pairing nicely with the marbled TPU found on the toe. Similar to other A-ZX pairs, the co-branded logo can be found on the shoe’s insoles.

Hey Tea definitely did it with the details on their ZX 7000. From the gradient on the laces, the dripped-out midsoles, cream leather heel tabs, and the 3M detailing on the Three Stripes and heel.

The Hey Tea x adidas Originals ZX 7000 drops this weekend across select retailers around the world. Just like the IRAK collab, the Hey Tea ZX 7000s are not dropping in the PH. Do check out retailers in the region such as Limited Edt or atmos for the Hey Tea ZX 7000s.
