A familiar Jordan colorway makes it on to the Air Jordan XI Low IE

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, the IEs are much better than the XI Lows.

Yes.

Back in 1996, Nike (Jordan Brand hasn’t been established yet), released the Air Jordan XI IE Low, following the success of the iconic Air Jordan XI. Technically it was a higher cut than an actual low, but the shoe used the same tooling system as the XI, with the most apparent difference seen on the upper, with premium leather and mesh replacing the ballistic nylon and patent leather. It was 5 years after this release thar Jordan Brand decided to create an actual XI Low which we’ve seen done in several colorways since.

What’s interesting to note is that this year will be the first time the IE takes on a familiar colorblocking seen on the Air Jordan – ‘Black Cement’. The shoe brings back the elephant print we’ve seen on the overlways, with a matching cement tongue and color-blocking reminiscent of the IIIs. While this shoe was initially set to release back in May, it’s only now that we are getting the stocks in mainly due to the pandemic.

The Air Jordan XI IE Low ‘Black Cement’ is now available online via Titan’s platforms (titan22.com and the TITAN app). The shoe retails for Php 8,545.
