Concepts brings the Boston Marathon to their A-ZX series offering

After releasing the Juventus ZX 6000 to start the month, adidas Originals continues their A-ZX series this September with another long-time collaborator Concepts. Over the last couple of years, the Boston-based store has expanded their reach to key cities such as New York, Shanghai, and Dubai. But at the end of the day, Concepts still calls Massachusetts home.

For their A-ZX offering this 2020, Concepts pays homage to the city’s iconic marathon, the Boston Marathon. Not only is the BM the world’s oldest marathon, it’s also regarded as one of the most challenging races ever. Using the ZX 9000, the foiled silver upper is reminiscent to the blankets used to keep runners warm as soon as they finish the marathon. The reflective foiled silver leather upper is paired with translucent TPU overlays and tri-color stripes. Co-branding can be found on the shoe’s laces as well as the shoe’s insoles. The Concepts ZX 9000 comes packaged in an all-white commemorative A-ZX box.

The adidas ZX 9000 ‘Concepts’ is now available via adidas.com.ph and the adidas app. The shoe retails for Php 7,000 and will also be available at Commonwealth this month.
