Jordan Strikes Again: Air Jordan 1 Retro High ‘Black Satin’

Earlier this week, we finally got to see UNBANNED: The Legend of AJ1, a documentary focuses on the origins of the sneaker that changed the world. Sure, there are several silhouettes that truly changed the game, but the Air Jordan I truly started sneaker cultue.

With the Air Jordan I being the gold standard in sneakerdom these days, Jordan Brand continues to strike while it’s hot with this weekend’s release. Going low-key with this relase, the Air Jordan I comes in a tonal black upper with gym red hits on the laces, tongue, insole and Wings logo. The upper, mainly black, comes in a variety of materials such as leather, satin, and and reflective accents. While it may not be so evident in these photos, but the leather on these rival those found on the SBB and other remastered J1s.
