Ready for 90? Nike’s gearing up for the Air Max 90s 30th anniversary
If the Camowabb, Lahar Escape and Clean Slate releases weren’t any inkling, welcome to year 30 of the Air Max 90. Expect 2020 to be filled with various Air Max 90 releases throughout the year, and Nike’s wasting no time than setting up a trio of releases this January.
While the Air Max 90 never really left Nike’s retro rotation, this year’s 30th anniversary release focuses on the OG build and shape of the silhouette. AM purists have praised the initial 30th anniversary releases, from the TPU pieces, sleeker toe, OG mesh, lower mudguard, and overall good looks of the original article. For this week’s release, we’re getting the classic color blocking paired with three ‘can’t-miss’ colors – Volt, Hyper Turquoise, and our favorite ‘Hyper Grape’. As we anticipate the release of the OG ‘Infrared’, it would be cool to complete the set by adding these three colorways to the collection.
The Nike Air Max 90 Recraft is set to drop soon at Nike Forum, Capital, and select Nike retailers around the metro. Each pair retails for Php 6,295.
