LeBron’s first All-Star shoe makes a comeback
Did you know that LeBron’s first ever All-Star sneaker was never worn during an All-Star game? During LeBron’s rookie year, he actually didn’t make it to the All-Star game but he did play in LA that year for the Rookie Challenge. During that rookie year, he did mention that he wanted to play in Timberland boots. Obviously, Nike wouldn’t let him but did the next best thing — create a Timberland-esque version of the Air Zoom Generation.
As the NBA returns to Los Angeles for the All-Star Weekend, Nike brings back LeBron’s first All-Star sneaker. Dressed in wheat and gold, the new Air Zoom Generation keeps it close to the original, down to the gum sole bottoms and original LJ23 logo.
The Air Zoom Generation ‘Wheat’ will be made available via electronic raffle. The link to the raffle is available on Titan’s IG stories. Entries will be accepted until 11pm tonight. Confirmed winners will receive an SMS within 24 hours and must pick up their pairs on Friday, February 16 at Titan Fort. The Air Zoom Generation “Wheat” retails for Php 8,545.
