Can’t Wait: The New Balance 990v5 is finally dropping this Friday

After months of waiting, they’re finally here. For people who appreciate a good pair, you can’t miss out on these. New Balance adds another silhouette to the famed 990 franchise with the 990 v5. The 990 series is considered to be the brand’s pinnacle in terms of their running silhouettes, and is handcrafted and made in the US.

In terms of its construction the latest edition uses pigskin suede for its overlays to mix in with the classic mesh on the upper. Unlike previous models, the 990v5 uses a modified ENCAP sole for superior all-day comfort and durability. New Balance also added an Ortholite cushioning sockliner for the 990v5.

The New Balance 990v5 is set to drop this Friday, June 21 across several New Balance stores around the metro. The 990v5 comes in three colorways – Grey, Navy and Black and will retail for Php 11,995. The 990v5 will come in men’s and women’s sizes and will be available at the following locations:

June 21 – Grey (men’s), Black (men’s and women’s)

• New Balance Concept Stores: Glorietta, Trinoma, Alabang Town Center, BHS, Ayala Cebu*, Shangri-la
• NB Shangri-la will only get the Black and Navy colorways

July (date TBD) – Grey (women’s), Navy (men’s and women’s)

*Cebu deliveries are slated to arrive next week
