Empowering the Underrated: Under Armour Curry 7 ‘Underrated Tour’

While the 2019-2020 NBA Season’s been a revelation with all the rising stars and new faces, we can’t wait to see Stephen Curry back on court (hopefully) this March. With the 2-time MVP sidelined for most of this season, we look back at Curry’s career, appreciating how it skyrocketed from being a three-star prospect to all-world superstar.

While Steph’s story of being a small-time prospect turning doubters into believers isn’t the first, it surely won’t be the last. Steph believes that anyone can have the same trajectory, just as long as they’re given a chance to show out.

The latest colorway of the Curry 7 is dedicated to all the underrated players fighting to fulfill their on-court potential. The new colorway serves as the official shoe of the upcoming Underrated Tour Powered by Rakuten.

The Underrated Tour aims to help underestimated three-star prospects from all over the US to showcase their game. Considered to be an underrated player himself, Curry founded the tour after recognizing his former player rating would keep him from his own high school camp, the SC30 Select Camp.

Looking at the sneaker, the shoe features a mix of black and cardinal red throughout the upper, coupled with a black outsole with white and gray speckles. The Curry 7 features both UA HOVR and Micro G tech for superior cushioning.

The Curry 7 Underrated Tour is now available at Under Armour (SM Mall of Asia, BHS, Greenbelt 3, Megamall, and Trinoma), with the shoe retailing for Php 7,995 and also comes in Grade School sizing (Php 6,995).
