Nike Zoom Kobe IV- Chaos Edition

I know. It’s been a while. We’ve been pretty busy at work and I haven’t had the time to sit down and really talk shoes. As it has been a while since I’ve written something worth reading, I tried to think of what was worth your 5 minutes. I thought about a couple of things- the new drops around town, ms. clavel (finally got a copy), or what to watch out for the coming months. I was dead set on doing all those until I logged on nike.com.ph. Nike’s been doing a great job in bringing in Limiteds and special releases the past few years. Whether they were LeBron 1s (Air Zoom Generation-55 minutes to sell all 38 pairs), Zoom LeBron 5 China Edition Hyperdunks, United We Rise Packs, Kobe MVPs and a host of others.
After the successful release of the Carpe Diems, Nike’s got something up their sleeve to get the next special pair- the Kobe IV Chaos. Nike is set to release only 24 pairs of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV Chaos Edition on February 13, 2009 at Nike Park, the Fort. Inspired by the Joker, the Kobe IV Chaose will definitely turn heads and Nike’s bringing the real by bringing in 24 pairs for the whole country.
Submissions are open from January 24 to February 1 (ok, so you’ve got 2 days left. go design!). It’s only open to Metro Manila residents and only 1 entry per participant is allowed. The winning designs will be announced February 13, 2009 at Nike Park Fort at exactly 8:24 in the evening. Winners must be physically present during the announcement and should have a valid ID with them. First 100 guests who register on that date will also receive an exclusive Kobe gift. Oh, by the way, the Kobe IV Chaos Edition is priced at P7,495.
Pretty lengthy ordeal to get a pair of sneaks right? But at least you don’t have to camp out or line up like other fools around the world. Go log on to www.nike.com.ph and get crackin!

ou can’t just buy ‘em off the rack. No sir. To even get a chance to purchase the shoe, participants must log on to www.nikeid.com and submit their own nikeID Kobe IV. Simply click on the Kobe IV feature on the nike site and start creating your own design. Once you’re done, click on the ‘EMAIL IT’ button to submit your entry indicating your valid e-mail address. Note that emailing it does not confirm a nikeID purchase but a submission of a design.Email the design to submissions@ZKIVManila.com.ph together with a story or inspiration behind the design and include your name, address and shoe size in the message box. 24 of the best designs will be chosen a
