How’s the weekend coming along? I’m trying to get this blog up and running again and let me just share a couple of sneakers I’ve seen around town. I’ve been to Rockwell and Podium and there were some interesting kicks on retail. Above, a nice Nike Dunk colorway- kind of reminds me of the Jordunk series. Below are three interesting pieces I found at the Nike stores at Rockwell and Trinoma. the KD1- Kevin Durant’s first shoe. Well, he did have a shoe last year but he shared the shoe with other Nike ballers (Nike Blue Chip KD PE). This is his first official shoe. Pretty nice, but too high for me. The sneakers below it are Nike Cortez’ Fly Motion. It’s basically your traditional Cortez but drugged up with some flywire and some ultra light sole (similar to Nike Free). Lastly would be the Air Max 90 neon pack. Pretty sleek, but not for everyone.
I also saw a couple of interesting items from Adidas. They finally released the safer colorways for the Gil 3 aka TS Creator Lo. They released a blue/grey/white colorway as well as a black/gold/white variant. These are obviously Wizards’ uniform color blocking. When will he ever play? I miss the quirky one on the floor. Damn shame we might not even see him on court this season. They also released a TS Creator mid for Leandro Barbosa- the Brazilian Blur. For people who love the Suns, this is for you.
Hopefully I’ll have more sneakers to share with you guys. I did drop by Sports Warehouse over at Market! Market! and they still have the NB Transportation pack available (that is a must buy guys… only 574 pairs in the world per pair guys). Lastly, I dropped by Crate and found some nice pairs that are of interest. A couple of nice blazer SBs, the Dunk SB Gibson (now going for 10k), a Puma x Sta Cruz First Round Hi, a load of NBs, and many many more. There are also Kiks Tyo shirts so do drop by there and get one before they run out!
It’s now Saturday and I’ve got a full schedule. Hopefully I’ll have time to sneaker hunt this weekend in between some hoops and some charity work. Have a great weekend!
