Here’s the latest entry for prized pick-ups. This dude right here is James Velasquez, a fellow industry practitioner and basketball fanatic. He sent me photos of him and his Js. He shares that he had to wait 14 long years (that is pretty long) to own a pair of XIs and XIIs. As a kid, James owned a pair XIIIs and never forgot how great it felt to rock a pair of Js. I’m sure a whole lot of you can relate to James and his love for Jordans. He’s waiting for the Concord XIs (though we all know the Cool Greys are a definite release this Holiday season), maybe some IIIs or IVs too.

Dudes, what do you do with your J’s? Hehe! Just asking, do you actually use them or just stock them up for your collection?
I remember buying two pairs of spizikes both infrareds, so that I could rock those j’s and keep the other pair for collection. Parang ayoko kasi magka-crease and maluma yung mga ganun lalo na pag ginamit for basketball games. This maybe a case to case basis but I would definately do the same if they were AJ XI’s.
@fafastar – depends on the Js. As you know, the AJ XIIs are arguably the toughest Js ever made, so those bad boys I use to ball. My AJ XI Space Jams, I usually use for casual wear. BUT, I’ll ball in em on special occasions, say a game with friends I haven’t seen in a long time (on a nice hardwood floor of course haha)

@fafastar, If you don’t want crease for your kicks, go ahead and check out Sneaker Shields. If you have a family in the states or if you’re planning on going, man, Buy as many as you need, man. I saw a video about them, they really work. They’re wearable shoe trees so that everything you rock your J’s, they don’t crease.. AT ALL. Peace.
