Last Friday was adidas’ House Party 6009 over at Embassy. It was a huge ass party and they really covered the whole place with the iconic trefoil and three stripes. They had a nice exhibit at Cuisine and a makeshift shop over at Cafeteria. The street was lined up with Vespas and it was a treat to see everyone repping the three stripes from head to toe.
The biggest draw of the night (aside from the winners of the Vespa trip to Italy promo) was the adidas Diamond Pack. It’s not your ordinary adidas Superstar. This one costs 36k! The shoe has six 0.2 carat diamonds placed by the three stripes. Talk about rocking rocks! There’s also a Swarovski-encrusted trefoil lace lock that can also double as a pendant. There’re only 15 pairs in the Philippines so drop by Trinoma or at Theodore’s for the diamond-studded shoe.
On top of all this, Theodore’s (Bonifacio High Street) is the exclusive retailer for the ObyO (Originals by Originals) Collection, another 60 years pack worth spending your ducats on. The ObyO Collection has three artists/designers on tap- Jeremy Scott, Alyasha, and Zazuki. The series has more sneakers per designer but I just took pictures of the ones I truly liked. adidas has definitely upped the ante for their 60th year. Each shoe here’s got a nice fresh look that would be great for the club or for rocking on a day-to-day basis. Here’re some pics of their display over at the store.
