It’s finally here.
Today, CONVERSE Inc. officially debuts the all new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II, a contemporary adaptation of the exemplary Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette, for the first time overflowing with innovative Nike Lunarlon technology to support the always-on creative lifestyle. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II is ready for more, boasting the most recognizable exterior attributes of the original Chuck Taylor All Star. Details include the unique white foxing, rubber toe-cap and statement All Star patch, while dialing up consumer-led features and benefits to deliver a comfortable and versatile premium sneaker for Chuck Taylor lovers everywhere.
Since debuting in 1917, we’ve seen the Chuck Taylor All Star go through updates, whether it’s the materials and patterns used, but never the way we see them today. In creating the Chuck II, Converse obsessed over creative spirits around the world joining them on tour, in concert halls and art studios, on sidewalks and at all-night parties, and realized they wanted more. The Chuck Taylor All Star II is designed to meet the demands of the creative lifestyle and is built for the next generation of self-expression. Now, this beloved classic receives an innovative refresh, with product enhancements that stay true to the time-honored aesthetic while also providing modern comfort solutions in a premium execution.
There are a couple of unique updates that may not be seen upon first glance. First up is the Lunarlon sockliner, providing new levels of cushioning and arch support. A foam padded collar and non-slip gusseted tongue replaced your classic canvas tongue. A perforated micro suede liner is there for better breathability during extended periods of wear. Looking at the shoe up close, a more durable premium canvas adorns the Chuck II’s exterior. A fully embroidered All Star patch, on-trend high foxing, and monochrome matte eyelets all make the Chuck II a desirable shoe to wear on the daily.
The all new 2015 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II sneaker drops today, July 28, for a suggested retail price of Php 3,990 for both the ox and hi-top versions at local Converse retail stores, select retailers and online at Converse.com.ph, in the following colors: Black, White, Red and Blue.
