I can’t recall any other year where adidas pushed the ZX line more than this year. Ofcourse, they reinvented the silhouette by launching the ZX Flux, but aside from that, a lot of their classic silhouettes such as the ZX 8000 has been on blast the past few months. Aside from the ZX 500, I consider the ’000 series one of the better ones in the ZX family. As you may have noticed, the ZX Flux used the midsole/Torsion outsole system of the ZX 8000, providing you with a comfortable and still dependable running shoe to this day. adidas Originals released two more colorways for the 8000, one in Bold Onix/Bright Cyan and the other in Chalk Solid Grey/Bold Onix. The latter looks a lot like the adidas Consortium collab they had with Crooked Tongues (aZX project) from a couple of years ago. The adidas Originals ZX 8000s are now available at select adidas PH stores for Php 5,295.
