I’m sure you’ve seen the UAAP pack around town if you’ve been to the major Nike stores around the metro. From game jackets, jerseys, shorts, and tees, Nike’s got defending champion Ateneo and this season’s favorites FEU laced with their threads. From the Blue Eagles’ Nico Salva to the Tamaraws’ Aldrech Ramos, the replica jerseys are similar to the FIBA unis as they used a technical burn-out mesh fabric for increased ventilation and aesthetic.

The UAAP apparel collection is now available in select Nike stores for UAAP fans and basketball enthusiasts alike. The jerseys retail for P1,895, shorts P1,895, the jackets for P3,295 and the fan tees at P1,095. With these two teams ranking 1 an 2 (though actual placing has yet to be determined), what better way to support your team than by wearin’ your schools team colors?

Rep Team Pilipinas with Nike’s brand new country kits. From the jerseys (1,895 php), shorts (1,695 php) and shooting shirts (1,195 php), they are now available in-store at Titan. Another thing you should know about Titan is that they have jersey printing in store. Just add 150 php to your Team Pilipinas jersey and get your own number ironed on! This is exclusive to Titan so do drop by and get your jersey on!

Titan also carries some Team USA kits in-store. The shorts are amazing! If I didn’t rep Team Pilipinas, I’d definitely rock the USA kit from the get go.

And you thought it was done. Yes, Titan’s got some Nike Basketball exclusives. A few months back, Kobe Vs Rice HS Aways dropped. This time around it’s the home version. This time around, you can cop the Rice HS Homes beginning tomorrow, September 1, over at Titan. If you’re still a fan of ‘Bron (but not a fan of his offseason decisions), a Soldier IV done in Christ the King colors. Clean colorways for both superstar signatures.

As we’re still on the HS tip, Kobe and LeBron’s High Schools ofcourse get their special colorways. The V gets a Lower Merion Aces home colorway (again, the away dropped a few months back), while the Soldier IV gets the St Vincent-St Mary’s cw as well. All these 4 pairs will be available beginning tomorrow, September 1 when doors open at Titan.

Nike Park’s been known to bring out the PEs (Player Exclusives) whether it’s for the regular season, All-Star Weekend, Playoffs, or like right now, the FIBA World Championships. This Summer, they’ve released a couple of Hyperdunk 2010s and Hyperfuses to promote the World Championships. Both Nike Park BHS and Titan released WBF packs- country exclusives for the Hyperdunk 2010- Lithuania, USA, Puerto Rico, as well as PEs for their countries- Dirk, Yi, Lamar, and Pau. Sadly, among the HD2010s, only Lamar and Yi are actually playing in them. Both Pau and Dirk won’t be suiting up this weekend as they start their bid for the World Championship, which will be aired live on BTV and SOLARtv (do check schedules real soon).

On the Hyperfuse releases, we’ve seen tons already come out, but Nike made a couple of country exclusives as well- Brazil, Puerto Rico (nice), France, and ofcourse the USA. They also made a Tony Parker PE for the French Hyperfuse (sadly, TP9 won’t be playing for the frenchies as well). With these PEs as well as the UWR (United We Rise) Pack dropping, is this really a set worth copping with all the players not playing? It’s great to have, but this is what happens when great planning ends up in smoke when players decide otherwise. The games should be exciting regardless, especially with a beatable USA team competing (heck, they almost lost to LTU and ESP the other day!).

But if you’re a sneakerhead, PEs, and Country exclusives are hard to come by and would be a great addition to any collection moving forward. Drop by Nike BHS or Titan for these special releases.

I should really look for help with the sneaker updates. Hideout dropped these last week. Maharam Dunks for the ladies as well as a couple of Terminators for the fellas. I wasn’t able to take photos of the All Court vintages and the Sebago Docksides (new stock) also in store over at Hideout. It’s quite clear that I’m not too fond  of the Nike releases from Hideout. But the site’s here for the sole purpose of letting you guys know what’s up. Among the releases, I’d say the Maharams take the cake. Both pairs go for 5,295 php. Maybe Hideout’s got something good comin’ up…

Well, I miss them too. Though a few months back, Nike did release two colorways of the classic runner- slate and comet red. But if you’re lookin’ for the neons, your best bet is the net. But if you just want the same look, this might work. The Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI is now available at key Nike stores nationwide.

Taking cues from the AM95, the Modular should be a temporary solution if you’re really feenin’ for the 95s. The shoe somewhat looks like a hybrid of the 95, the BW and the 95. I’m still on the fence for ‘em. Like most of the hybrid or revamped runners, they’re alright, but won’t pounce on them just yet. But with the colorways available, they’re great. A lot of the key designs of the 95 are seen on the shoe. So why not, right?

We already featured the whole 2010 UAAP/NCAA collection a few weeks back. Here’s something to keep you glued on. If you’re a true fanboy, you’d know which players were on this spot. Cheers!

The cult favorite strikes again. When the obsidian Janoskis dropped late last year alongside the Gucci SBs nobody expected those to sell out that quick. Ever since, the Janoskis would sell out in jiff. Tomorrow, 1pm, the Stefan Janoski SB is done in classic SB colorway. Tomorrow, bring what’s left of your paycheck. weLegendary.

Here’s a couple more releases worth noting from Nike. I took these shots last week but were available even from a week or two back. The Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Hyperfuse, or the Hyperfuse Trainer to most, is now available in black/red. Taking cues from the Hyperfuse- a mesh one-piece upper, the trainer gets a new look, similar to what they did with the trainer with flywire tech.Most people like it, I’ll hold off until there are other colorways. It’s just way too black for me.

Aside from the trainers, the Air Max line got the rest of the Omega Pack in. They first came out with the BW Gen IIs. They finally released the AM1s and the Maxim 1s as well. I’m feelin’ these AMs. Should I pull the trigger? You should.The Air Max 1s come in two simple yet solid colorways that’ll work with jeans or shorts, not so much jean shorts, though. Obsidian/Red or Black/Maize? Why not both? 23 years in, the Air Max 1s are lookin’ good as ever.
