After debuting during the All Star Weekend last February through James Harden, Nike Basketball finally offers the Hyperchase to a much wider distribution and making it to our shores this May. Although not as flashy as the ones the Beard wears during Rockets games, the Hyperchase comes in a team-friendly Black/Metallic Silver/Wolf Grey-White colorway. Inspired by sleek, modern fighter jets, the shoe aims to provide the penultimate scorer with a shoe that can be as versatile as your dynamic performance.
When designer Tony Hardman started working with Harden and the Hyperchase, he wanted to come up with a shoe that can deliver instant responsiveness whether for quick cuts or those stop and pops. The shoe’s upper is made of a dual-layer mesh with strategically placed overlays for proper flexibility and support. The Flywire cables help tighten or loosen with the foot’s natural movement. The partial mesh bootie enhances breathability and provides a more comfortable fit.
The Nike Hyperchase is now available at select stores around the metro and retails for Php 5,495. The shoe will be made available to the following Nike Basketball doors: Titan, Nike Park, Nike Stadium, Nike Forum, Nike SM Pampanga, Nike Iloilo, Nike Davao, Planet Sports, Olympic Village, Sports Central and Toby’s.
