This weekend’s madness ain’t over just yet. After yesterday’s massive release, Sole Academy brings out another classic, this time from the Nike archives. Although Football is not as big here as it is in the US, it doesn’t mean that we should be deprived of great footwear. Nike signed (and later re-signed) the Former Falcons/Eagles/Current Jets QB Michael Vick to their roster and led the brand’s push for their gridiron category. But with the illegal dog-fighting incident making him the least likeable pitchman, Nike wasn’t too sure if they wanted to continue their partnership with Vick.
But game recognizes game and Nike welcomed Vick back with open arms and they’re now releasing some of Vick’s more iconic silhouettes. Today, Nike Sportswear brings back the Nike Air Zoom Vick 2, a shoe he wore during his stint with the Atlanta Falcons. The Vick 2′s most recognizable feature was the forefoot, adjustable heel pad and the caged Max Air. You can now head on over to Sole Academy to pick these bad boys up. The Nike Air Zoom Vick 2 retails for Php 6,795.
