I’m not sure if you’ve been to a Nike Park or Stadium the past few weeks. But if you have, I’m sure you’ve seen these sweet looking Nike Dunk Lows from their current Nike Sportswear collection. Like Nike’s other iconic silhouettes, the Dunk has seen various color blocks on them as the shoe is quite versatile, especially with the various ways you can color the different sections of the shoe. Here we have a Medium Grey/Team Red-Black-White combo, a good mix of bold and subdued colors that makes the shoe stand out some more.

The Nike Dunk Low is now available at Nike Parks and Stadiums, retailing for 3,995 php.

I take it people have been anxiously waiting for this to drop since last weekend. Nike SB retailer weLegendary drops SEVEN pairs this Saturday at their RONAC branch beginning 2pm. I know it sucks that it’s not payday but do find a way to get all 7. Aside from the cult favorite Janoskis dropping 2 awesome colorways, this weekend also debuts the PRod 5. The latest edition from Paul Rodriguez and Nike SB will come in 2 colorways (above) and will retail for 4,795 php. the PRod line definitely is getting skinnier by the day with all the new technology its being infused with. Aside from the 5s, There’s also a PRod 2.5 done in a Tiffany-esque Black-Azure colorway. The 2.5 retails for 3,495 php. There’s also a Eric Koston 1 (4,695 php) done in a more subued and less loud colorway. I’m actually feelin’ the mossy colorway. For Dunk Low SB fans, the Dunk Low Pro SB “UK Passport” will also be available this weekend for 3,495 php. The Dunk is inspired by the UK Passport which is in Deep Burgundy and Metallic Gold.

Yes, all these pairs are dropping this Saturday, 2pm, at weLegendary RONAC. For a closer look at the shoe and the sizes available, log on to King Crux’ site. If you still don’t know where RONAC is, you’ve got 4 days to figure it out.

Wow, Nike’s really turning it up a notch as we are a week away from the Black Mamba visiting the Philippines for a 4th (3rd with Nike) on the 13th. After releasing the Metallic Silver and the Blue Camo, Titan, along with other Nike retailers released a camo colorway for the grade schoolers (GS) of the Kobe VI. Instead of a predominantly Blue camo, this GS colorway features white, brown, grey and tan with touches of red and blue on tongue and swoosh. Cop the Camo Kobe VIs for your kid at 4,995 php.

I know I just have to do this but yes, there are a couple of new Dunks also available at Titan. First up is the Nike Dunk Hi Hyperfuse Premium (below). Similar to how they used flywire (and later hyperfuse) to the Air Maxes, the iconic Dunk gets a nylon tongue coupled with Hyperfuse construction on the upper. The three materials fused together provides better breathability and gives the user a much more lightweight Dunk for everyday use. The Dunk Hi Hyperfuse Premium retails for 5,495 php. I wonder if you can actually use this for serious outdoor hoops.

Aside from the hybrid Dunk Hi, Nike also released a duo of Dunk Lows that’ll work on the daily. A Red/Black and Yellow/Black colorway is now available in store at the Fort Branch as well. The Dunk Low retails for 3,995 php. Cop it. You know you want it.

After a weekend full of releases from Jordan Brand, they’re not done yet. The Jordan Team ISO II is also available in store today. Done in the ever-famous Bulls Black and Red, this team shoe from JB utilizes Zoom Air for cushioning. You can also pick this up from Titan for 5,995 php at their Fort branch.

We’re only 5 days into July and we’ve been bombarded with a boatload of releases. There’s 26 more days. God help us all.

Dunks sell themselves. The Nike Dunk, one of Nike’s iconic silhouettes, have new colorways perfect for this Summer.  I’ve passed on the silhouette for quite some time now so I’m not as interested on the stories tied to the shoe or packs that come out for it. As much as I’ve given up on the shoe, you can’t go wrong with the colorways set here. The white/white/gum with gingham lining (above) is the perfect shoe for the season. Check out the rest of the Dunks (both low and high, men’s and women’s) that are available at Nike stockists around town. Happy Hunting!

You know I told you the Dunks are slowly getting played out (though to the kids these days, they come off as their go to shoe). I’ve been rocking Dunks since god knows how long and I decided to stay away from them, at least for the very near future (or if there’s a release I’ve got to have). Late ’09 and 2010 Dunks so far have been ok, a lot mimicking the Be True pack/Varsity OG packs from the beginning, and some cws that are safe, to say the least. This came out about a week ago, and I’ve got to say, if I had a choice among all the current Dunk releases (and when I mean current, I mean NSW current), this would be it. Black canvas, white midsole, black outsole and a cool mint gingham liner. The cool mint fits perfectly with the black canvas. I guess it’s good to see another fabric, a specialized fabric at that, on the Dunk.

These are now available at most Nike retailers- Park and Stadium, including Shoe Salon. Best GR Dunk for me so far for 2010. Your thoughts?

Last week, we got our fair share of All-Star colorways and some of the good stuff. I’ve been holding some of these kicks to make way for some of the stuff you must pick up. Here’s the rest of the best from the past few weeks.

This Air Max LeBron VII colorway is the best in my opinion. I always believe in clean color blocking and this LBJ VII is tops for me so far. LeBrons are known to look bulky, but this one cleans up real good and gives that great illusion that they’re not as bulky as they seem. I won’t wear ‘em, but if I were to recommend some signature joints to some friends, I’d recommend this one. The black shrouds the white just right and the metallic gold accents on the emblem, swoosh and lace hooks are straight. These do not fit any of LeBron’s unis this year but if they fit your everyday get up or your team’s uni, grab em. The triple black version of the LBJ VII is also out but I didn’t have the chance to take a pic of it. These however are so fresh, so clean!

All the Dunks here I’ve posted before but I just had to take a shot once again. The only new Dunk here are these women’s release. Nike’s been loving the hue as I’ve noted time and time again. They released a white/grey/purple (or violet) pack that also contains a Dunk Lo, High, and an Air Max 90. There maybe more, I just didn’t see ‘em. They are pretty nice and the tinge of purple speckle by the midsole definitely gives the shoe some additional character. The Cortez below just looks great. It’s like cutting Kermit’s feet and makin’ ‘em your own. OK, that was pushing it.

Over the weekend I also dropped by Crate. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out. Crate carries a lot of rare and stuff you rarely find at regular shops. All the stuff at Crate were picked up at various places around the world, mostly from Singapore, Hong Kong and what have you. This is actually the first of three posts on Crate. It’s been a while since I last featured Crate here at Sole Movement. I didn’t take pictures of everything, so it’s all up to you to find out what else is there.

Let me break this post down by types- The SBs, the other Nikes, and Adidas. Ok, except for the one you see here, the following Nikes here are SBs. The one you see right below is a Tier Zero collab with Alife Rivington Club. As promoted before, it’s colorway is Black, White, Gum and BANG! Witty and straight up, just how I like it. These are extremely rare and are hard to come by. I’m not sure how many other pairs Jave (Crate) has, but do check em out. There are a lot of Dunk Mids here too- Blue/Black, Ice Green, Linoleum. Among the three, only the Blue/Black one is an ’09 release. That’s what’s great about Crate. He’s got pairs here that you most likely slept on. Prices aren’t cheap, but if they mean a lot to you, then price shouldn’t be an issue. Among the lows, I like the Toxic Sea Robin and the Will Ferrell. I know colorful/candy kicks are on its way out but the glowing green outsole of the Toxics are too good to pass on. The other one is dubbed Will Ferrell for his character as Ron Burgundy/Anchorman. The blue print is obviously his tie and the Burgundy colorway is obviously his suit. There are other SBs in the background if you look closely. The PRods also are available as well as the Zoom Classic SB and the Janoski.

Another sneaker that caught my fancy is the Air Toki TZ. With all the Vulc soles and Vans being the go to shoe for most these days, Nike hopped on the bandwagon with this piece. This came out early this year but still worth your dubloons. The charcoal colorway does it for me, as this can definitely go with anything. An everydayer? Most definitely.

The latest drop here at Crate are the Adi Originals’ Consortium City Series. Adidas follows up their AZX collab from last year with another store collab. Originally 4 cities (LA, Berlin, Boston, and Oslo), Crate has 3 of the 4, namely LA (UNDFTD), Berlin (Solebox), and Boston (Bodega). Among Adidas’ efforts this year, it’s really the ObyOs and the Consortiums that really stand out for 2009. Again, these pairs are available in limited sizes. Like any special release, if you blink, they’re more or less gone. Drop on by Crate from Wednesdays-Sundays (1pm-7pm, except  Sundays, 12nn-6pm) for more details.

As I struggle to catch up with all the drops this month, I try to figure out what else is in store for us this holiday ’09? Yes, we’ve seen a lot of sneak peeks online the past few months. A lot of them have surfaced– HideOut has the DOD Pack, the AF1 Savage Beast, Nitro Microphone AF1s, AM1s and Maxims while Nike Parks and Stadiums have had their share of QK and ultra clean releases.

I also passed by Nike over at Greenbelt 5 last week and saw the pairs you see here. The AF25 above is apt, especially with More Than a Game out in theaters. Ofcourse, these follow Bron’s High School colors- Green, Gold, White. I was never a fan of this pair, but the iced outsole gives the shoe extra cred. Another ‘Bron release is the LBJ Zoom Ambassador II. There’s another colorway (majority white) that plays with the same colors. They’re alright, as they aren’t as clunky as the Six or LeBron’s other pairs (well, except for the LBJ7).

Most of the fresh kicks are really for performance. Another pair worth mentioning are the Trainer 1s. This is actually the fourth colorway released here (Lights Out, Volt/Silver. Grey/White/Red and this). If you’re digging on Jigga’s Empire State of Mind, this definitely resembles NYC to the fullest… well, not so much the Yankees, but the Knicks and Mets represent!

Kobe cannot be outdone so they released 2 more pairs of the Dream Season X. The image below is the white/grey/purple with the black/yellow also available at my gallery. This definitely echoes the color of the Lake show, and one of the current Kobe IVs. They’re good as gold, especially if you like your high tops high. I’d rather go for the IVs though.

Last but certainly not the least are the NSW drops. With the speckle look invading NSW, here’s a Dunk that comes correct. Wouldn’t it be cooler if the speckle resembled blood blotches? Aside from the speckle, the pair’s pretty tame. I’d change the laces to white for an opposite pattern to come out or black to get with the low key look goin. The AF1 low here is pretty fresh. As we all know that purple/violet is the now color, this doesn’t disappoint. It’s just an awesome silhouette.

Well, more drops on the way. Just give me some time to load everything and get my act together. I wasn’t able to take a pic, but lil’ fans of LeBron and Kobe have their respective AF1 colorways. Also, kids get the jumpoff with the LBJ7. Their version dropped a few days before the real thing.

Clearly, I’m a week late…again. I’ve been pretty busy, especially with the launch of the NBA season. A couple of posts ago, I featured the AF1 Savage Beast, which was part of  Nike’s Halloween ’09 collection. Ofcourse, the Swoosh had to come up with a couple more kicks to make this year’s Halloween a little cooler. The Day of the Dead Pack  has been there for Nike the past few years and this year, they came up with three pairs.

All three pairs carry the same colorway- black, white, purple, green, and orange. For Dunk fans, you should be happy with the release. I personally like the Dunk High better than the Low. The black base just makes sense, especially for the occasion. The Air Max 90 on the other hand, is a distant cousin of the earlier DOD packs released. It’s alright, but it doesn’t get me all amped up. If the shoe carried the same cobweb/skull pattern as the Dunks, it would’ve looked way better. This pack btw, is a quickstrike. So think about it. Is it worth it? Maybe. Will you lose sleep if you don’t cop it? Not so sure ’bout that.

Aside from the DOD Pack, Hideout came correct with Nike x Cassette Playa’s third sneaker collab. They had the Dunk High before as well as the Blazer. This time around, they come with a nylonized Dunk High. It’s pretty cool, but they’re pretty colorful. Most of the shoe is black, but the outsole’s a really bright orange. There’s also a mouth by the toe box (though it can’t bee seen with the photos here). To complete the look, Nike BHS (and I’m sure other stores around town) carry the Nike x Cassette Playa Tees (shirt shots to follow). The Cassette Playa sneaker is not really a Halloween shoe but with the colors just exuding Hallow’s Eve, why not rock it, right?

For all 4 pairs, you’d be surprised with the price. All these QK don’t even go over 6k. So what’re you waiting for?
