It’s always been the practice for new tech/platform — if it works, to use it on all the silhouettes and collections. Just like how Air is used on most Nike silhouettes, when adidas first introduced Torsion, they offered the tech on their other shoe segments. Now with ‘Big Man’ sneakers experiencing a resurgence with the return of Ewing Athletics, Mutombo and Shaq silos being retro’d, it’s but elementary for the brand to bring back other ‘chunky’ silhouettes such as the Artillery 2. The Artillery back then was a huge hit because of Torsion, bringing running principles to the hard court. Now repurposed with a more casual look, the Artillery 2 will definitely score high with its tonal uppers accented with the white midsoles. If you’re in the hunt for a solid sneaker, the adidas Artillery 2 is now available at select adidas PH stores and retails for Php 4,795.
