Weekend Drop: Yeezys Rule the Weekend

Save for the New Balance release today, it’s pretty safe to say adidas wins the Weekend Drop this week. Five silhouettes are set to drop in men’s, women’s, and even kids’ sizes this weekend, as adidas runs everything as we are nearing the end of June 2019. adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 ‘Synth RF’– Php 13,000

adidas kicks off this Yeezy-filled weekend with yesterday’s crazy limited release of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Synth RF’. If you weren’t able to join the in-store raffle over at Commonwealth, tough. This release also marks the new SRP for the 350. From Php 11,495, the shoe now retails for Php 13,000. For more images of this coveted piece, click here.

New Balance 990v5 Made in the USA – Php 11,995

After months of waiting, they’re finally here. New Balance prides itself with their rich running heritage and superior craftsmanship. The 990 has forever been one of the brand’s best running silhouettes. Today, we all get to experience the latest edition from the 990 line. Coming in two colorways, the 990v5 is sure to do well. adidas Supercourt – Php 6,000

This is the new classic. adidas Originals continues their hot streak with today’s Supercourt. Made to be the next go-to lifestyle sneaker, the Supercourt actually made its debut earlier this month as part of the brand’s Home of Classics collection. Today, 3 new colorways (white/off-white seen above) release today, giving everyone options to this solid sneaker. Click here to see the rest of the colorways of the Supercourt.

adidas ZX 4000 4D ‘Hi-Res Yellow’ – Php 20,000

Yes, 4D is the future. Fortunate for us, the future is here. adidas Originals adds another ZX 4000 4D to their list with the ‘Hi-Res Yellow’ colorway dropping today. Both Sole Academy and Commonwealth are releasing the pair today (copdate and online raffle). The shoe definitely sports a high price tag, but a shoe like this is worth every peso. adidas Ultraboost 19 x Toy Story 4 – Php 4,500

To round out the Friday releases, adidas also released the Ultraboost 19 x Toy Story 4 collaboration. The 2-piece pack features the two mainstay characters ‘Woody’ and ‘Buzz Lightyear’. Both pairs are feature key marks of the characters with Toy Story 4 branding throughout. For more images, click here.

adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 ‘Synth’ Full Family – Php 13,000 / Php 9,300 / Php 8,300

While the Synth RF was quite limited. Everybody gets a chance tomorrow for these. And when we say everybody, we mean EVERYBODY. The 350 V2 Synth Non-Reflective not only is available in more doors than the RF, but alos comes in full family sizing. That’s right, the PH finally gets a run of Yeezys in kids and infants’ sizing this time around. You’ve got several ways to get the shoe. Commonwealth is releasing the shoe via CopDate today, while Sole Academy ran an online raffle registration last night. You can still get the shoe via the adidas Originals Neighborhood Stores at BGC, Uptown, and Glorietta. For the kids’ sizes, Sole Mini (Sole Academy’s kids store), carries the shoe exclusively among brick and mortar doors in the PH. They will be releasing the shoe tomorrow, June 22 at their BGC location. For people down south, Sole Academy is also releasing the 350 V2 at their Cebu door on a first come, first serve basis. adidas OZWEEGO – Php 6,500

To round out this weekend’s drop, we have the OZWEEGO. This is the official release of the new age retro-inspired runner (we did see an initial drop via adidas Consortium last month). Giving off that ’90s vibe, the OZWEEGO looks to be the next ‘it’ sneaker. Pick up a pair tomorrow at your favorite adidas Originals Neighborhood stores and partner retailers. Playground’s 6th Anniversary SaleJune 21-23

As we shared before, the Playground is having their 6th Anniversary Sale this weekend. Buy 1 Take 1 on most (but close to all) brands available. Choose from Nike, adidas, New Balance, Converse, Vans, Asics, Asics Tiger, Onitsuka Tiger, ARKK Copenhagen, The North Face, and Clear Weather. They’re also offering free sneaker cleaning to the patrons who are at the sale this weekend. If you purchase 8k or more, you also get a free prize from Playground. Our friends from Sports Warehouse also notified us that there is a Big Sale happening over at the Megatrade Hall over at SM Megamall. We don’t really know much but the poster for it says it all.
