BUSY RELEASE DAY FOR ADIDAS ON MARCH 1ST
We’ve seen the list of upcoming releases for adidas and if the past few months are any indication, you’ve got to figure out how to fund your sneaker purchases. adidas PH through its own stores and partner retailers are releasing eight (YES, EIGHT) must-have silhouettes. It’s going to be a pretty busy day, so make sure to keep track and see where you should be to pick up the latest releases from adidas Originals.
The UltraBoost – both caged and uncaged – won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. The premiere running shoe from adidas has transitioned quite well to the lifestyle orbit and continues to be the shoe of choice for most. Today, a glitch black & white camo pattern is seen on the shoe’s Primeknit upper, while complemented by a black Boost midsole. Unlike previous models, the shoe showcases a white outsole, providing the contrast to make the shoe stand out even further. The UltraBoost Uncaged will retail for Php 9,995 and will be available at Commonwealth, Sneak Peek (Shangri-la/Eastwood), Sole Academy (BGC), adidas Greenbelt and the adidas online store.
Stan Smith BOOST
Last month, the Superstar was reintroduced with Boost cushioning. It did have it classic sole intact with the Boost embedded into it, but it was pretty clear where the brand was headed. Today, adidas brings us the Stan Smith, the all-time, best-selling shoe, now with Boost. Unlike the Superstar Boost, the Stan Smith replaces its midsole/outsole with the Boost soles. Now, everybody’s staple sneaker is made even better with Boost cushioning. Two initial colorways are available – white and black – both showcasing fairway green accents on the tongue label and heel. The Stan Smith Boost will retail for Php 6,495 and will be available at Sole Academy (BGC/Alabang), Sneak Peek (Shangri-la/Eastwood), Commonwealth, and adidas Originals Neighborhood stores.
After debuting last January, adidas is releasing two more colorways of the latest iteration of the Pure Boost. Releasing both a tonal black and navy colorway, the Pure Boost goes a little more low key without the contrasting FITCOUNTER molded heel counters. The adidas Pure Boost is now available at the adidas online store for Php 6,495. Expect to see the pairs at your favorite retailers as well.
Is the NMD craze dying down anytime soon? Today’s release will be a true test. As it is slowing down in other countries (colorways are not selling out as fast as before), NMD mania is still selling out well in the PH. With a bunch of colorways releasing left and right, this pair might be a good gauge if the R1 is on its decline. The R1 makes its return today, this time with The Athlete’s Foot. The store is releasing a Deep Red/Black/White colorway of the cult classic runner today at their Two Parkade store in BGC. The NMD R1 retails for Php 7,495 and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. The NMD R1 will also be available at the adidas Originals Neighborhood stores.
Iniki Runner BOOST
Last but certainly not the least, adidas reinvents another classic made for today. This has been the winning formula for adidas. Not only are they coming up with amazing color updates for their silhouettes, they’re also coming in with a very tasteful range of new silhouettes that work. The Iniki Runner Boost gives us that old school runner vibe with its upper, but provides superior comfort with its Boost midsole and gum bottoms. Two colorways are available for the initial drop – Red and Navy. The Iniki Runner Boost retails for Php 6,895 and will be available at Sole Academy (Alabang and BGC), Commonwealth, Sneak Peek (Shangri-la and Eastwood), and adidas Originals Neighborhood stores (Glorietta and Uptown Mall).
