Week 6 was relatively quiet for us here at Varsity Heat. As the UAAP season transitions into the 2nd round, players (and coaches) alike are sticking to what works with regards to their pairs. With Adamson, Ateneo, NU and UP bagging wins over the weekend, the biggest win would have to go to UP. Not only did the Fighting Maroons keep their playoff hopes alive, Juan Gomez De Liano netted the first triple double in 15 years. On his feet were the Kyrie 4 ‘Red Carpet’, a fitting shoe for such a remarkable feat. Check out JGDL and the rest of Varsity Heat Week 6 presented by SLAM PH and Sole Movement.
