COMFORT IS KING: Don’t look now but Skechers just might be your go-to comfort shoe

Posted on Jan 2, 2023 in Skechers

I’m sure we’ve all heard of Skechers before, whether it’s their recent ONE PIECE D’ Lites fashion sneakers or maybe you’ve seen the brand on the feet of your friends, family or your favorite influencer. But have you ever wondered WHY? Why they chose this brand over the brands we normally think of when we think of sneakers?

Skechers is legit.

Did you know that Skechers is in the third largest athletic lifestyle footwear brand in the world? IN THE WORLD. And there’s more to the brand than what you may have seen before. We took a trip to Skechers and our minds were blown. They actually have hundreds of footwear styles, catering to every type of person. The brand prides itself as The Comfort Technology Company, and they’re not wrong.

Their technology rivals (and maybe even surpasses) your favorite sneaker brand. I was fairly impressed on the different innovations cutting across their performance silhouettes (yes, we tried their running shoes) and was fascinated as to how comfortable they are. Just like any other footwear brand, Skechers puts in years of research and development to create the most comfortable sneakers out there. Here are some innovations that seen on their latest 2022 collection:

Skechers Arch Fit® Technology – A patented removable insole system backed by 20 years of data and over 120,000 unweighted foot scans delivers incredible support

Hyper Burst® Midsole Technology – Skechers created a lightweight and highly responsive midsole cushioning foam that offers responsive comfort to many of their running and walking silhouettes

Skechers Hyper Pillar Technology™ – High rebound pillars of Hyper Burst foam embedded in the outsole for added support

Natural Rocker Technology – Designed to offer a smooth heel-to-toe transition

That’s just some of the signature technologies found throughout the range. Do you know that you can even machine wash many of their sneakers? There’s really so much to cover and discover from a brand like Skechers. I now know why so many people swear by it. They make footwear that’s really comfortable, durable and stylish.

So that you don’t look too confused the next time you drop by a Skechers store, here are some of their styles worth checking out:

The Workout Walker

Consider this as your daily, going-for-a-quick-errand sneaker. Skechers calls the Workout Walker their ultimate walking shoe designed with top innovations to help make every walk a workout. The shoe features their Hyper Burst midsole cushioning coupled with Goodyear® rubber outsoles for superior traction. The shoe also comes with the brand’s Arch Fit insole system for added support.

GO WALK 6

Everyone and their aunt should be familiar with the GO WALK. Now on its 6th iteration, the shoe features their ULTRA GO® cushioning, Air-Cooled Goga Mat™ insoles and the aforementioned Hyper Pillar Technology for support. Lace ’em up or slip them on, the GO WALK 6 is worth a look. This model right here is their Slip-In edition, which rivals some other brands out there that make it easy to wear.

GO WALK Hyper Burst

This shoe also features the brand’s Air-Cooled Goga Mat comfort insoles as well as their Hyper Burst cushioning midsoles, keeping it lightweight and highly responsive. They also come with Ortholite® comfort insoles for added breathability.

MAX Cushioning

I see friends and family gravitate towards Skechers’ Max Cushioning line. When you need to go for a quick run or workout, this fits the bill. Air-Cooled Goga Mat tech as well as the ULTRA GO cushioning is built into the shoe, while paired with their Natural Rocker Technology for that proper heel-to-toe transition. And they also feature Goodyear® Performance Outsoles for enhanced traction, stability and durability.

Still not convinced? Do drop by one of the Skechers stores and try them out. You’d be pleasantly surprised to see what they’ve got under the hood.
