October is such a pivotal month for a lot of brands and retailers as it is the start of the new season (Holiday/Winter 2016). Aside from it being the start of the season, we’re also right around the NBA Tip-Off! The new NBA season tips off on the 26th and you’re sure to see new footwear from all the brands (we haven’t event scratched the surface with what’s coming out). Lastly, next weekend’s Halloween, so do expect a couple of pairs on that angle as well.
But what has released this weekend? I took a couple of days break and we’re showered with so many releases over the past couple of days. Go check out what’s out for this weekend and drop by the store (if you haven’t) and make the purchase!
adidas D Lillard 2 ‘Dame Time’. We all know that Game Time is Dame Time. adidas celebrates their all-star with a colorway inspired his end game heroics. The tonal red upper comes with shot clock graphics contrasted by the icy outsole. The graphic – 0:0.9 – is a reference to his buzzer beater vs the Houston Rockets back in the 2014 Playoffs. The adidas D Lillard 2 ‘Dame Time‘ is now available at Titan as well as select adidas PH stores for Php 5,995.
adidas D Rose 7 ‘Halloween’. With Derrick Rose finally clearing his name from the civil lawsuit, Rose can finally scare his opponents with this special Halloween colorway for his latest signature shoe, the D Rose 7. Befitting his new team’s colors, this D Rose 7 features a blue flame graphic on its overlays and glow in the dark accents on its outsole and logos. The adidas D Rose 7 ‘Halloween’ retails for Php 7,995.
adidas Crazy Explosive ‘Halloween’. With the Crazy Explosive in full effect with several team bank colorways, Primeknit variants and Andrew Wiggins PEs, adidas Basketball complements the D Rose 7 with a Halloween-inspired colorway for the Crazy Explosive as well. Donning a black and purple upper with an eerie green outsole and accent. The adidas Crazy Explosive ‘Halloween’ is now available at select Titan stores for Php 7,995.
Premier x Saucony Kinvara 7 ‘Night Strike’. Saucony flips the script by using their performance pairs to do a collab with MI-based boutique Premier. Using the Kinvara 7, Saucony and Premier released the ‘Night Strike’, inspired by the night air strikes to surprise the opposition. The shoe features co-brand detailing on the tongue, heel and insole. The Premier x Saucony Kinvara 7 ‘Night Strike’ retails for Php 6,995 and is now available exclusively at Sole Academy (BGC branch only).
Livestock x Reebok NPC Strap ‘Bad Day In Court’. After the Ventilator, Classic Leather, and Pump, Reebok has been pushing their NPC Court silhouette for 2016. Collaborating with Canada’s Livestock, the two brands take on a different court, with the grey premium suede uppers with prison orange accents on the tongue, heel and insole. Livestock’s logo is also found on the heel as well as the co-branded tongue tag. The Livestock x Reebok NPC Strap ‘Bad Day In Court’ is now available exclusively at Sole Academy, conveniently priced at Php 4,795. Not bad for a very solid collab.
Winiche & Co. x Mita x Reebok InstaPump Fury OG. Wow. Reebok’s putting it out there this weekend! The two Japanese streetwear staples come together for a flight jacket-inspired InstaPump Fury OG. Details are seen throughout the shoe, from the premium leather toe guard, to the bright orange accents on the Hexalite and lining to the three-way collab insoles. The Winiche & Co. x Mita Sneakers x Reebok InstaPump Fury OG ‘Flight Jacket’ is now available exclusively at Sole Academy BGC and ATC for Php 8,395.
